To pass on the word of Clarrie′s passing, a Death Notice (as at right) was published soon after his death in the Rockhampton Morning Bulletin and the Central Queensland News (to reach those who knew him in his earlier years). A similarly worded notice was published in the Courier Mail for those who knew him in later life more as a gentleman farmer.
